Like earlier Nikon cameras, the P5000 is equipped with a 10-megapixel resolution CCD and a sensitivity of up to 3200 ISO. The 3.5 optical zoom will let you catch more real-life looking shots. This cam is also capable of tolerating appended lenses.

But just like the newly released S-line cameras, the P5000 comes with features like the Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and D lighting that will make portrait shots look great.
