New Nikon S-line Cameras

Nikon Coolpix S50

Renowned camera brand Nikon has a series of new offerings for the market. Among the eight new digital cameras they released, half of them belong to the S-line or Style. These new S-line cams are the Coolpix S50, Coolpix S50c, Coolpix S200 and the Coolpix S500. All of these new digital cameras are equipped with their own unique feature so customers will have quite a selection for taking precious still shots.

Both the S50 and the S50c feature 3 inch LCDs, 3x optical zoom and 7.2 megapixel resolution. Aside from that, they also have the so-called optical image stabilization and Best Shot Selector. If you want to have still shots or portrait the following features will be beneficial: Face Priority AF, red eye fix and the D lighting. The S50c has an edge over the S50 because it can hook up with the Coolpix Connect 2 service, which makes it easy for you to email images to family and friends. Both phones will be available in stores by April, the Coolpix S50 for $299.95 while the Coolpix 50c for $349.95.

The other two models, the S200 and the S500 feature a 2.5-inch LCD and a 7.1 megapixel resolution. Like the previous units these two also have 3x optical zoom lenses. The best feature of these cams is the quick start up time of 0.6 seconds and a shutter lag of just 0.005 seconds. These two will be in stores much earlier, by March the S200 will be selling for $249.95 and the S500 for $299.95.
