Another one of the big names in the computer industry is suffering the hot seat these days. If Dell is the name that comes to your mind, you are quite correct! Last year Dell Computer’s reputation and sales took quite a battering when their laptop batteries started overheating and catching flames. That issue was in the month of August so somehow until now they are still in the recovery process. But now a serious issue is facing them once again! The problem is in the form of a class action lawsuit filed by a group of Canadian in the Ontario Superior Court over the defective Dell Inspiron laptops. The plaintiffs allege that the laptops they bought are inclined to overheating, which is quite harmful to the motherboard resulting to early failure.

The lawsuit pertains to several Inspiron models, namely 1100, 1150, 5100, 5150, and 5160. Through the lawsuit, the plaintiffs hope to have Dell Canada replace the defective computers or if not to replace, cover the cost of repairs. There is still a long way to go in determining if the claim is true since the case was only filed last Friday. Thorough investigations will have to be made so as to be sure that only justice prevails in this case.
