News about Microsoft giving away expensive Acer laptops to bloggers is one of the hottest issues the last few days. No one can really tell what Microsoft’s motives are in doing it, other say that it’s almost like a bribery to bloggers in order to give favorable reviews for their new operating system Vista that’s due to launch later this month.

As a gift the Acer Ferrari laptops loaded with 64-bit processor are really expensive. Just imagine the pride of owning one of these babies that costs $ 2,200 apiece! Two Ferrari models were given – Acer Ferrari 5000 and Ferrari 1000. There were 90 recipients of the said gift specifically bloggers who are specifically tuned to covering technology-related subjects, photography and online videos.

Anyway, we can’t really change how people perceive this kind of thing. For the bloggers the most important thing will be to give a fair judgment or view on the subject and in this case the effectives and efficiency of Microsoft’s new OS Vista.
