Ever played Pac Man on your Pentium 4 laptop and felt that this machine could give me just a bit more?
Ever asked Einstein to solve 1+1=?
Ever gone to the 1001 Flavors Ice-Cream shop and asked for vanilla?
Well that's the way Sony Computer Entertainment’s Executive Vice President Phil Harrison is feeling about the latest Sony PS3 games currently available. He feels that current PS3 games use less than half of the system capabilities, but at the same time he also said that “Nobody will ever use 100 percent of its capability.”
What he's implying is that the PS3 may have unlimited capabilities which have not yet been discovered. It makes sense as the machine has only been on the shelves for a few weeks. It's sensible to give it more time to develop and video game companies more time to adjust to its capabilities.

EA said they added more detail to the boxers in FNR3.
I have seen the comparison shots and think the PS3 version looks better. 360 version had better backgrounds but not as good boxers. The article said the lighting was better on the 360 but for me the lighting is overdone. I'm playing a few games on 360 and this HDR is defiantly overworked. I played the Lost Planet Demo on in 720p abd as it looked great and sharp the lighting is unrealistic. You start outside in the snow and its daylight and really bright but there was way too much dark shadows on the back of the character. There doesn't seem to be lighter shadows in these games. I'm sitting in a well lit room and I can see whats in the shadows because they're light shadows. If this room ws recreated into a game then those shadows would be pitch black and you wouldn't get different shades of shadows. Also the light would be bleeding all over the screen and you wouldn't be able to see the bulb because of this overuse of HDR which causes that bleeding. I have checked the contrast and brightnes on my TV and its fine when I use my PS2, DVD and PC though it.
