Adobe Systems, the number one in the world when it comes to digital media manipulation, has introduced the beta version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 software Last Thursday.
The company is delivering the product to everyone! And when I say everyone I mean, Mac users as well as Windows and also, it will be Vista compatible.
“Adobe has never taken a major product and made it available in this way. It’s a water shed event, but we want to show dedication to the Mac platform,” John Nack, Senior Product Manager for Adobe Photoshop said.
It's got loads of new features which include the all-new Adobe Device Central. Photoshop customers can use Adobe Device Central to design, preview, and test compelling mobile content, created specifically for smaller screens.
Finally, the big companies are getting their teeth in the mobile business.
I mean, come on! PSPs are everywhere, loads of people have the latest generation of mobile phone, PDAs and iPod Videos in addition to all sorts of mobile media devices, why has it taken so long for Adobe to recognize that people would want to use some software to convert, transform, create video, or photos for these kinds of devices. There are only some crappy, unstable programs that do it now so there shouldn’t be much competition.
It also has more in its goodie bag such as, such new features as Non-destructive Smart Filters, a Quick Selection tool, Refine Edge, Automatic layer alignment and blending.
This should be fun to use.
