
Finally, RIM officially introduces the Blackberry 8100 or the “Pearl.” This smart phone, measuring 4.2"x1.97"x.57" and weighing only 3.1 ounces, is said to be the smallest smart phone available in the market. It will be commercially available in the US on September 12 and in Canada and some European countries next month probably for about $199.

It comes with a MicroSD card slot that lets users store more music, photos and videos in this phone. Blackberry 8100 also features improved SureType QWERTY keypad for easy and faster typing and dialing.
