Low-Priced SanDisk Music Player Released

Sansa MP3 player

Few weeks after SanDisk released its greatest flash-based Sansa MP3 player, the company introduces another music gadget, the open-format 2GB Sansa c200. This time, the company would like to appeal to consumers who are looking for affordable yet enjoyable music player. This new 2GB Sansa c200 will retail for only $100 and will be out by October.

Like the earlier introduced 8-GB e280, Sansa c200 is compatible with PlayForSure DRM so users can download music from online subscription companies like Yahoo! Music. It comes with memory card slot that allows you to expand its memory to 4GB, which means you can add about 1000 more songs to your collection. It also features an FM tuner, recorder and a lithium-ion battery with 15-hour playback.

This light and very portable music player comes with a 1.4-inch 128x98 pixel LCD screen that displays slide-show images while playing music. A 1GB version is also available and it will also feature a color LCD screen. It will be sold for a more affordable price of $79.99.
