Nokia announced that it will be offering in September an Internet Edition of the Nokia N80 multimedia phone. This new Nokia N80 can be used both as a regular mobile phone and as a VoIP phone. It allows users to download voice over IP calling applications from any VoIP service and it has wireless LAN wizard that helps users locate and configure wireless Internet connection.

Apart from VoIP calling and Web browsing, users of the new Nokia N80 Internet Edition can also enjoy easy photo sharing through Yahoo Go and e-book reading through Amazon MobiPocket Reader. This new phone also features Yahoo Mobile Search application that lets you find local info, driving directions, maps and more. This also lets users combine Yahoo e-mail and contacts with the cell phone. N80 Internet edition is also equipped with Nokia’s Download that lets you find and download new compatible applications.

The Internet Edition N80 will still have features of the regular Nokia N80 like the 3-megapixel camera. Style remains the same however the new smartphone will be available in patina bronze and pearl black colors.
