Motorola Unveils the Latest ROKR

Motorola ROKR E2

Since Motorola i-Tunes ROKR music phone was introduced last year, it has not gained enough praises or equaled the success of its rivals in the market including the LG Chocolate phone, but Motorola is hopeful that the ROKR phone will finally make it this time by introducing the latest music-optimized phone, the ROKR E2. The new Linux-based music phone unveiled in Singapore offers more music, faster connection to a compatible PC and more ease of use. Music enthusiasts are definitely hoping this phone’s going to be a lot better than the earlier model.

The Motorola ROKR E2 comes equipped with MP3 player compatible with various audio formats, integrated FM radio, dedicated music keys, 1.3-megapixzle camera and built-in stereo Bluetooth audio connection3. This phone allows you to store up to 500 MP3s by plugging in an optional 2-GB SD card, and it lets you create and manage your own playlists as well.

Motorola ROKR E2 is available in Singapore for S$458 (with operator contract). It is not yet known if this phone will hit US market sometime soon.
