Palm, a handheld computer and phone manufacturer, is going to introduce next month its latest model of the Palm Treo smart phone. The said new smart phone is intended to boost company sales, which suffered a bit from the tight competition in the market. According to a Palm spokeswoman, specifics about the latest Palm phone will be announced in UK on the 12th day of September and that it will be commercially available before year’s end.
It is expected that the Palm Treo smart phone, named as the Treo 750, according to some sources, will operate on Vodafone’s high-speed 3G network, will feature Microsoft Windows Mobile OS and a new antenna-less design. Although technical details about the “Palm Treo 750” are not yet officially revealed, a lot of high-tech mobile phone users hope that it will have internal Wi-Fi, which is not available in the previous models. The current 700p model only comes with slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cards.
