Microsoft to Rework Xbox 360 Controller

Xbox 360 Controller

More revelations about the Xbox 360 cropped up at the company’s Gamefest event in Seattle. Among them is the new Xbox 360 controller. Although not directly expressed, Microsoft's product unit manager for hardware Robert S. Walker’s words suggested that they are considering creating a controller that is more favorable for First-person shooter gamers. If materialized, this new controller may come as an advanced and optional version of the existing Xbox 360 controller and not as a replacement.

Walker’s comments on the future Xbox 360 controller came as good news to avid Xbox gamers as FPS games and other latest video games need more precise control that the current controller is not able to give them. But many would definitely appreciate it more if Microsoft would bring a keyboard and a mouse to their newest game console. Walker however confirmed at the same event that Microsoft does not have any intention to add mouse and keyboard support on its next generation game console.
