The much anticipated PlayStation 3 has been gaining a lot of criticism lately, primarily because of its high pricing. Recently, even editor of Sony’s Official PlayStation Magazine, Dana Jongewaard openly expressed her interest in buying PS3’s greatest rival, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft instead of the PS3.

But PS3 isn’t left without strong supporters. Production acquisition director Ian Livingstone of Eidos Interactive, publisher of popular game series Tomb Raider and Commandos said that he prefers quality over pricing; hence, he chooses the PlayStation 3 over the Xbox 360.

Livingstone said that if you are looking for an ultimate gaming machine, PS 3 is definitely the best. PlayStation 3 which comes with Blu-Ray Disc provides every gamer virtual interactive cinema, making this console not just a gaming machine but a home entertainment system. PS 3 is certainly worth its price, he noted.
