Apple recently released its new Mighty Mouse; this time, the new mouse isn’t just a no-button device, it has no tail! Very innovative indeed, but it doesn’t look different from last year’s no-button Apple Mighty Mouse except of course for the fact that it has no tail. The main difference between the two is that the wireless MM is Bluetooth-enabled and that it features new laser tracking that increases its optical precision up to 20 times. Bluetooth technology provides the new Mighty Mouse wireless connectivity up to 30 ft.
Like its corded brother, the wireless Mighty Mouse features touch sensitive technology that allows it to detect right and left clicks, a scroll ball that allows 360-degree scrolling, and squeezable side buttons that you can use to launch programmes. You’ll need two AA batteries to operate this wireless mouse.
The wireless Mighty Mouse retails at $70 while the wired Mighty Mouse’s worth $49, so that makes the benefit of having no tail worth $29?! Isn’t it expensive? Well, not if a Bluetooth mouse makes a lot of sense to you.
