Earlier this year, Jaren Goh designed concept phone for Sony Ericsson. It’s called the Black Diamond concept phone. From the name itself, you can tell now it’s really expensive— it is planned to be sold in the market in early 2007 for a whopping sum of $300,000! Only five Black Diamonds will be made first, however, not by Sony Ericsson but by VIPN (Voice Internet Phone Network), giving its would-be owners great pride in owning this exclusive mobile phone.
The Black Diamond phone’s design has gained varied reactions when it was first introduced. It’s made of Titane with Polycarbonate, comes with an elegant glossy mirror finish and yes, precious diamonds. This ultra thin mobile phone also comes with high–end features including its 4-megapixel camera, 262k TFT colour display, 2-inch Touch Sensitive screen, Quad band with Wi-Fi, Intel 400Mhz processor that runs windows mobile 5, 128mb internal memory, and 2Gb SD card for external storage.
