Release of MS Office 2007 Postponed

Microsoft was supposed to launch the MS Office 2007 last March but slated it in October in time with the launching of the Windows Vista, an improved operating system offering an intuitive design and more productivity to its users. Yesterday, however, Microsoft informed the public that it won’t launch yet the new Microsoft Office 2007 in October as earlier scheduled. It hopes to release it sometime later this year while it plans to make Office upgrades available for everyone early next year.

Microsoft explains that the delays in the launching of the new MS Office are due to the modifications being incorporated in the software. The changes were based on the experience and suggestions of testers.

Analysts predict that Microsoft will sooner or later announce another rescheduling of a product launch—that of the Windows Vista. This is not good sign for Microsoft, analysts add, as frequent changes in their launching date might lessen consumers’ confidence.
