Sony Released Monsters with Blu-Ray Drives

It’s seems that Blu-ray drives will be the standard in the next few months with the release of both a notebook and a desktop by Sony that feature a blu ray drive burner which gives you up to 50 GB of storage on a single Blu-ray Disc. The new Sony notebook which joined the Sony Vaio series has a 17 inch WUXGA widescreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, a core duo T2500 processor, a 256 MB nVidia GeForce Go 7600 GT graphics card and a 200 GB Hard Disk Drive.

As for the desktop model, it joined the Vaio R series desktops with powerful features; 3.6GHz Intel Pentium D960 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and – hold your breath before you continue reading – a 2 TB of storage! As for the screen, a choice of a 20 inch with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 or a 23 inch with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 is available.
