Apple 17 inch MacBook Pro was unveiled lately during the big National Association of Broadcasters show which took place lately in Las Vegas. This is the 4th Apple Laptop powered with Intel processor, it has a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo CPU, 17-inch widescreen display (1680 x 1050), ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 PCI Express graphics with 256MB of dedicated GDDR3 graphics RAM, 1GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, expandable to 2GB, 120GB Serial ATA hard drive running at 5,400 rpm, with Sudden Motion Sensor, Slot-loading 8x DVD burner ('SuperDrive') which supports dual-layer DVD±RW, Three USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 800 port and one FireWire 400 port, One audio line in port and and one audio line out and built-in iSight Webcam.

Apple new 17 inch MacBook Pro is claimed to be up 5X faster than its PowerBook predecessor; According to Apple, it will be available on stores on the beginning of May.

I’m not a big Fan of Apple Laptops, but with the recent introduced models, temptation of getting an Apple is high especially with Boot Camp system which can turn Intel based Macs into a Windows PC.
