How extreme can you get?
Well, pretty extreme! Stuartz Weitzman together with jeweler Le Vian is taking things to the max. Before the $2M-dollar shoes, the world’s most expensive shoes were worth $1 million. How is it that this new pair of shoes cost that much? It is made up of genuine jewels, diamonds and tanzanite! Made of silver leather, the pair of shoes is decorated with over 185 carats of tanzanite and 28 carats of diamonds! It would be hard to miss the blue gems embellished along the straps and just on its sides are the real-sparkly diamonds! There’s even one 16-carat tanzanite dangling right in front of the shoe.

Yes, the collection launched February 8 at Macy’s South Coast. This bit of news was posted on Paris’ own MySpace post. The name of her collection is somewhat straightforward “The Paris Hilton Footwear Collection.”

We had our company Christmas party last week, and what a party it was because all of us had to wear a costume! Any fantasy costume. My officemates really made great effort on their costume; a lot of them wore boots. I don’t know what brand their boots were but they looked good… made me feel somewhat envious. I’ve never owned a pair of boots before. So I browsed the net wishing I had a great pair of boots too. Like this Knee-high mid-heel boot from Victoria’s Secret. There is also the same boot design that reaches mid-calf and ankle boot.

A few weeks ago I saw this report on TV wherein children are put at risk because of particular footwear, Crocs. You might be familiar with this one because this is at present very popular and preferred by a lot of people since the are comfortable and can be worn almost anywhere. But the popularity of this footwear may be at an end because of reports that Crocs footwear and the elevator just don’t match! Statistics about children wearing Crocs getting injured is on the rise. Children injure their toes when the footwear also gets caught in the “teeth” of the escalator. A broken toe is bad enough but there are even worse results from this kind of accident like a toe getting completely ripped off.

Burglars would have a had a hard time stopping themselves from salivating at the Rene Caovilla sandals recently launched In London’s exclusive Harrods store. And I guess salivating is all they can do because upon launch this pair of sandals was closely guarded, not by the police but by one poisonous Egyptian cobra! The first question that comes to mind is why have a snake as a guard? You’d have to look closely into the sandal’s design and you’ll see the elegant cobra design on the vamp with its eyes made of genuine rubies. You see having a cobra as a guard is the perfect advertising for it.

My favorite flat step-in just gave out yesterday and I feel kind of sad because it has been my sort of companion wherever I went. Oh, well it can’t really be helped… Anyway, it’s just an indication that I have to look for a new flat footwear if I want ease and comfort for my feet. Browsing I found something I liked, it’s Tod’s Holiday Zip Front Flat. Primarily, I like its look…quite casual, not loud in color and I think very nice feel to the feet. Well, that’s my impression at a glance…

I’m not sure what to make of this Hair-Calf Pump by Manolo Blahnik. First time I saw it, it really reminded me of cows lined up grazing in the field. I don’t know about you, but if I was given a pair for free maybe I wouldn’t even wear it, would you? Well, maybe you would and I guess this one is not just in harmony with my taste in footwear. One more thing though, I think it will be hard to find a dress that will match these pump.
