The Nui Tube Dress seems to be one of the favorites of some Hollywood stars. Just recently some who were sighted wearing Nui were Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek and Nicole Richie. And being the recipient of two awards - Best Female Artist and Video of the Year, Beyonce definitely stood out that night, especially as she was in this Dolce & Gabbana dress when she paraded on the red carpet. An array of stars was once again sighted during the 61st Tony Awards last Sunday in New York. Of course lots of stars in their stunning gowns and dresses have been spotted on the red carpet. But back to her dress, if it’s left on a hanger it probably would not look as good, but on her it’s pretty eye-popping indeed. Well... I could say if not for the pink little number peeking on the neckline. That one is an eye sore!

Another star-studded event has recently transpired at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It was awards time once again for the country music partakers as May 15 marked the day of the 42nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. As you can expect the events was again flooded with stars wearing all kinds of fashion styles. Well, clear the way for country singer Faith Hill who’s wearing this heavenly-looking gown. I think it’s actually silver gray gown made in a Grecian style that leaves one shoulder bare and coming to meet at the other shoulder. The length is just perfect for her tall frame, the hem just reaching her ankles. I just love its style especially the folds and sort of crinkles all over it, but I couldn’t find out who designed that particular dress for her.

I became an avid fan of Sandra Bullock when I saw her movies, especially Miss Congeniality 1 and 2, which she starred in and produced. Her antics in these movies were just so endearing, well she certainly endeared herself to me in those movies. And during the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala last Monday she once again showed her own special glow by wearing a gorgeous fuchsia gown by designer Alberta Ferretti. The gown is just perfect for her figure…a figure, which Sandra confessed, is the result of a slimming-down process.

Personally, I have never liked it, but this time maybe I’d have a change of opinion because this particular shimmery bluish/lavender bubble dress looked just heavenly on Jessica Simpson’s little sister Ashlee. This dress Ashlee Simpson wore is a creation of designer Brian Reyes. She certainly turned heads with it when she attended the action-packed Hollywood party sponsored by Us magazine. Little Ashlee definitely looked good enough to eat in this bubble dress, showing off some cleavage with the tube-like design on the chest and some of her shapely legs as the dress ends at mid-thigh.
