Former Dior designer Gianfranco Ferre died last night at the age of 62 due to massive brain hemorrhage after being taken to San Raffaele hospital in Milan on Friday. Ferre played a great role establishing Dior brand and in creating designs that are really one of a kind, hence he was labeled as the “architect of fashion”. Ferre really made his mark in the industry because of the structured and sculpted shapes of his designs. Among Dior’s collection, his trademark was the white blouse and his suits were just the perfect things for women who aren’t afraid to take on the corporate world.

The new shoes are totally of a new design that will meet women’s varying taste in fashion, especially footwear. The new models in the Croc’s new You line include eight wedge-heeled models and one lifted flat. These shoes are really one of a kind since they are a combination of leather, suede and lambs wool. If you’ll examine the heel and the sole you’ll see it is made up of plastic resin.

If you will recall I have previously posted an article about Ralph Lauren receiving the very first to receive the new Fashion Legend Award. Yesterday, June 4, he finally got hold of the award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America annual awards. This event is also called as the “Oscars of Fashion”, an event where stars and well-known personalities get together in a colorful event. None other than Oprah, dressed in pink fashion, presented the award to Ralph Lauren.
