The 61st Annual Emmy Awards that was held on September 20, 2009 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles was another event that one shouldn’t have missed. It’s really too bad that I did. So, it’s just now that I’m catching up on what went on at the red carpet. A lot of celebrities looked all glamorous in their outfits, but my dress pick is the one worn by Grey Anatomy’s Sandra Oh. Her elegant and shimmering gold Marchesa sheath gown is definitely a winner!

Her strapless gown is made up of intricate gold lace. The darker metallic color of the gown reflects the red color of the carpet making it more eye-catching. The gold tassel around her waist is just the right accent because it sets off the graceful curve of her waist and hips perfectly. The gown’s color perfectly complements her skin tone.

On her are Jimmy Choo heels and on her finger is a David Yurman ring. Tacori earrings adorned her delicate ears. The final touch to her outfit is the Marchesa crocodile clutch.

Even though she didn’t get the Outstanding Supporting Actress award, she’s still a big winner on the red carpet. It’s all thumb up for Sandra Oh’s Marchesa gown!
