When I was younger, one of my goals was to learn to make my own dress. Sadly, that goal hasn’t been reached yet. I haven’t even mastered using the sewing machine we have at home. Well, it was an old model that’s why it’s more difficult to maneuver. But since there are plenty of modern portable sewing machines today I might be inspired to learn again. Do you want to learn too? Maybe we can learn it together; but first things first. What is the best sewing machine for beginners?

Here are some good ideas on sewing machines for beginners:

• Singer Singer Inspiration w/ NoError Threading – This $149.99 machine gets rid of the problem of threading the bobbin, threading the needle and not having enough light.
• Kenmore Sewing Machine w/ 43 Stitch Functions, Built-in Needle Threader – Get rid of the hassle of the hassle of threading in the needle. This is a great machine that beginners can get for $89.99.
• Singer Fully Electronic Sewing Machine – This $179.99 machine offers a wide range of function. You can use it for fashion, quilting, heirloom, craft and stretch stitches. The price is just right because it has advanced sewing features not found in other machines.
• Janome Hello Kitty – This cute apparatus that costs $110 can be a great enticement for teens and even children who want to learn the art of sewing. Though it offers mechanical threading, Janome Hello Kitty is still easy to use.

So, if you were to choose, which of these would lure you to take up sewing again?
