The Golden Globe Awards night has come and gone. The winners are probably still celebrating, can hardly believe their luck this year; while losers are still home licking their wounds. One thing that won’t easily be forgotten about that night is the fashion statement made by celebrities. Kate Winslet definitely won’t forget that night. Aside from taking home two Golden Globe awards Kate also took home the privilege of being one of the best dressed celebrities on the red carpet. In my opinion she really looked good that night in her simple strapless Yves Saint Laurent gown. Won’t you agree with me?

There’s something very glamorous in the seemingly simple design of the said dress. The column design of the gown with the stylish, folded bow at the bust just makes her look sexier. The floor length dress hides her footwear though so, I can’t see if her shoes are a perfect match to her outfit.

Her only accessories were the dangling diamond earrings and diamond bracelet. Personally, a necklace or choker wouldn’t be amiss here. But, I like this elegant black dress. Don’t you?
