Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry, no doubt about it. It has signed up world-renowned celebrities to endorse and even design for some of their clothing lines. And now H&M is making a big noise again by revealing its guest designer for the autumn line. Rei Kawakubo, the person behind the Japanese label Comme des Garcons, joins H&M for the autumn line. Kawakubo said that she is excited to and challenged to work with H&M because it will be designing with experimentation on whether commercialism and creativity can go together.

The line that this 65-year-old priestess of design will encompass outfits for men and women alike. There will also be some pieces for children as well as limited unisex scents and accessories. If you are a big H&M fan, you can watch out for Kawakubo’s designs in November. They will first be available in Japan and will eventually make their way to H&M chains in 28 countries.
