Last night Alessandra Facchinetti presented her first collection for the brand. It won’t be an understatement to say that she has big shoes to fill as the company’s designer and all the world is watching out how she’ll get on. At the show held on Thursday, her dresses had affirmative reviews. She made her own designs yet considering designs already established by Valentino himself.

35-year old Alessandra Facchinetti chose a relaxed approach in her design which was characterized as being respectful to Valentino. Her designs included a bicolor cashmere jacket colored black and gray. Eye-catching features of this jacket are the sleeves formed by darts near the wrist. It also has a matching skirt. There are also other coats made of fine wool. The evening clothes include loose silk dresses featuring soft neckline, a strapless red chiffon gown and a black dress. For sure the ladies will also love the new collection for Valentino.
