The “in” thing now, especially for this Fall season is the inspired Babushka. In the Milan fashion shows of renowned designers the accessory that predominated was this Russian inspired headgear. I guess this is usually seen being used by grandmothers hence the name. Some of the designers that had babushka in their line-up for the Fall trend are Dolce & Gabbana, Blumarine, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Daks as well as Yves Saint Laurent.

The babushkas of these designers vary in their material and design. Among them the most lavish are the ones by Dolce & Gabbana and Blumarine since they are made of fur style. Vera Wang’s babushka seems to be made of wool or maybe some other thick material. While there is lavish design, Daks on the other hand went for minimal effect with uncomplicated ribbon.
