If you are an avid crystals collector or even just a admirer then most likely heard that Swarovski is the leading crystal masterpiece creator. Over the years, Swarovski has created some of the most awesome pieces of jewelry that were even worn by famous celebrities and divas. In order to have a “look-back” on their previous creations, an exhibition of stage jewelery worn by legendary soprano will be coming to Japan. The exhibition entitled “Maria Callas & Swarovski, Jewels on Stage” will feature some 50 pieces of a one of a kind collection that will be showcased at the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Department Store in Tokyo this coming May 1-13, 2007. Japan will have this precious time to appreciate the beauty of some of Swarovski’s greatest creations.

During her performances, Maria Callas favored Swarovski jewelery and everything that she wore were designed and crafted by Ennio Marangoni and his son Antonio. Callas herself also took part in its creation. Aside from the jewelery pieces, various Callas memorabilia will also be showcased. The said exhibition was already witnessed by millions in different countries around the world including Monte Carlo, Prague, Buenos Aires as well as New York.
