New endorsement contracts are getting signed everyday between big companies and celebrities. Previously, H&M signed up Madonna followed by pop superstar Kylie Minogue as endorsers of some of the clothing line. Well this time the big thing is with Avon signing up “Dreamgirls” singer-actress Jennifer Hudson to be the spokeswoman of the Imari line’s new scent.

Avon the world’s largest direct seller of cosmetics will release the new line Imari Seduction in August. This new fragrance line is a fruity oriental type with flavors of plum and purple orchid, vanilla, amber and musk.

Avon has a special reason for choosing Jennifer Hudson for the new Imari fragrance. “We believe that our Avon representatives and their customers will be inspired by Jennifer’s dream-come-true success story.” Liz Smith, Avon’s Executive Vice President said. Jennifer Hudson has won several awards including Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars, a Golden Globe as well as screen Actor’s Guild Award.
