Our looks are external manifestations of our inner self. That’s why when we’re sad and angry, we naturally don’t look that good. In the same way, if we feel weary and burned out, our face and skin get wrinkled and we look older. Caring for our skin is a good way to nurture positive attitude we need to keep ourselves physically, emotionally and mentally healthy.
Here are simple yet often ignored ways on how to keep your skin naturally healthy, glowing and beautiful:
Exfoliate your skin, at least once a week. You can use a mixture of 1 tsp of sugar and 2 tsp cold water or oil. Gently massage your skin with this mixture to remove your dead skin cells. Massaging your face will also improve blood circulation.
Moisturize your skin by apply small amount of almond oil on your face. You can do this at bedtime as oil penetrates the skin more deeply at night while you sleep.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables as these are rich in fiber, vitamins and antioxidants that defend your skin from aging and damage.
Drink a lot of water to nourish your dehydrated skin tissues. Moreover, it will help you eliminate waste products in your body.
Lastly, exercise. It will help you reduce your stress levels and hence, get rid of your annoying pimples and other skin problems.

i guess i want to try some of these but does anybody think putting sugsr or oil on your face is a good idea?
let me know plez.
Sugar is a good exfoliant as it produces glycolic acid, a kind of alpha hydroxyl acid that helps slough off dry skin. Olive oil, avocado oil and other oils obtained from fruits on the other hand have great moisturizing effect on the skin. They contain vitamins and antioxidants that are good for the skin.
