I’m wondering what Nicole Kidman might be feeling now that she has been replaced as the face of Chanel No. 5 perfume.
Taking her place is the attractive 29-year-old French actress Audrey Tautou. You might have seen her before in the movie 'The Da Vinci Code'. With this important step, she will be lined up with icons who have modeled for Chanel No. 5 like Marilyn Monroe and Catherine Deneuve.

Where Nicole is blonde, Audrey on the other hand is a brunette. It’s a totally marked difference once the new commercial for the said perfume is launched. Anyway, both ladies are attractive in their own right, no doubt about it.

I had a bit of time to browse through some of Dior’s offerings, and here’s what I found. Well, before anything else, I’d like to ask, would you mind spending $3,800 for a bag? That is the price of Dior’s Samourai 1947 Medium Zipped Woven Bag. In fairness, this is a gorgeous-looking bag, so you’ll get your money’s worth. And it’s a Dior! There’s no doubt about its quality since this Samourai Bag by Dior is made from textural grained leather. You can see the intricate design of the rolled leather handles having twisted tie details and serpent ring attachment. Quality is also present in the ornate basket weaving of the whole bag.

I’ve always been fascinated by Swarovski crystals. What more if it is incorporated into a Louis Vuitton product, like this Monogram Inclusion Bracelet. I find this bracelet very, very cute. I’ve never had a bangle and this one is a good candidate if ever I decide to buy one, or that is if I have any money. This bracelet is made from resin and it is accented by multifaceted Swarovski crystals. The crystals are only on the tiny side that you cannot see them at first glance.

Although Gwyneth Paltrow was in a Fashion Disaster post last well, this week her eye-catching dress is featured as Dress of the week!

I hadn't taken much notice of Gwyneth Paltrow’s fashion sense before, but her latest get up can’t but be admired. She wore this gorgeous dress during the premiere of her movie “Iron Man” in Rome. It was a little black dress that looked like a see-through number, but actually it was not.Her dress which was a creation of fashion icon Jean Paul Gaultier was made with a fish-scale-like design.

Some of you might not like it, but I do! I think it looked good on her and she looked very elegant. The dress hugged her curves beautifully and made her look taller than ever.

Summer is just around the bend once again. I’m sure a lot of you are looking forward to lounging around swimming pools or on the beach. And summer time is also a time for getting out those summer things that you have in your wardrobe. Gwen Stefani is a very busy bee. This time she is spending most her time preparing for new hew line of fragrance. By September of this year, there will be five new fragrances from Gwen Stefani, in partnership with Coty fragrances. I admire her unique sense of style that is why I think the name of her new line of fragrance is quite unique. Gwen calls it the Harajuku Lovers Collection as inspired by her and her backup dancers/singers namely Love, Angel, Music, and Baby.

The Harajuku Lovers collection will have lovely and bright bottles in the shape of dolls. You have to check them out because each of the five scents reflects the traits of the person it represents from the Harajuku Lovers. The price, I think, is affordable ranging from $40 to $60. Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry, no doubt about it. It has signed up world-renowned celebrities to endorse and even design for some of their clothing lines. And now H&M is making a big noise again by revealing its guest designer for the autumn line. Rei Kawakubo, the person behind the Japanese label Comme des Garcons, joins H&M for the autumn line. Kawakubo said that she is excited to and challenged to work with H&M because it will be designing with experimentation on whether commercialism and creativity can go together.
