Star Academy 9 First Prime
Many of you are waiting for the beginning of the new season of Star Academy.
No official date until this day has been announced for the first prime of LBC Star Academy 9; however rumor has it that this season has been delayed until May 2012. According to rumors circulating on the net, this decision came after an agreement between LBC and MBC network to air the show after Arab Idol has ended!
What do you think? Is it too late to air the show in May, especially with most exams for many students across the Arab World take place during this period?!

FIRST IT WILL NOT START IN MAY CUZ ITS 4 MONTH AND RAMADAN WILL BE IN JULY THIS YEAR,,, IT WILL START MARCH 2 THAT WILL BE THE FIRST PRIME , AND YES ONE OF THE CANDIDATES WILL BE CHRISTINA ATALLAH FROM PALESTINE .

The channel might start working again when the new season of Star Academy starts.
Promise to add all the correct Nagham channel frequencies on both Nilesat and Arabsat when Star Academy 9 begins :)

I think it's a good idea to begin the show a bit later this year, considering there's a lot of people suffering in many Arab countries including Syria. Hopefully, by May 2012 everything should be much better.

You should be right, except that Ramadan has nothing to do with this show - in the beginning of the starac three seasons were running during Ramadan. On the other hand, it is doubtful the LBC will wait for the MBC show to end, as with the last season the starac quality has significantly improved and considering the current quite average Arab Idol candidates, and the lame attempts of the judges to make the show more lively, it seems the starac is much stronger - considering the primes only (and not mentioning the reality TV that atracts even larger public to the show). So, the LBC does not have to fear any competition and they will start whenever they are ready (and will avoid running the show during the months of the exams and the summer hollidays when they can only loose the voting money). The MBC made not a very good decision by preempting the starac time slot !

My Masseg to Madam Roula Saad, if to Start Star Academy 9 on 7/4/2012 ,NOT on 6/4/2012 as they announced.. Because 6/4/2012 is a ( Good Fridaiy) which is a Passion of Jesus.. and will Not Sutable for Starting a Fun and celebrations on that day. I Hope the LBC TV and Roula Saad should Consider about this.

Dear Waleg and the follower i can't wait to see the coming season of star academy i really missed it and as i read on wikeez.com it might be start on April 6,2012. and there is some management replacement, and i don't think this season madam Rulla will be there. So what ever whom in-charge on this season i want to see on that day.

It MAY start after Ramadan, so maybe in September. However, if the duration of the show is 4 months, then that'll finish close to new years... so I'm not sure... otherwise, we'll have to wait until next year!

It may be good if we've watched the last starac and there will be no next one, because the show had reached the peak last year and it will be good to remember it by the best singers in all eight seasons - Sara and Nesma - as it is hard to imagine that they can find anyone better in any season to come. Also, the reality TV part reached its climax with tackling the homosexuality subject, and by its scandalous nature it is hard to imagine Rula Saad could go on beyond that any further.
In a few words: as the season 8 arguably could have been the best ever, it is maybe even better to stop there and keep the best memories of the show (that finished on such a high note).

ikr it will b exam season so ppl might b 2 busy 2 watch it 4 d firts 2 months or so bt on d bright side we will watch it during d summer break
