Well, not a terrible injustice. Except I don't think Ibrahim deserved to be nominee, He actually did really well in his eval. Though I dislike Ibro.
Tania deserved to be nominee every week since the show began, She sings 30 seconds a prime, and very badly, she has no outstanding talent. So I won't say much more there.
Yehia didn't do well, it's not wrong that he be nominee. I think the nominations and the critisicms have ruined his confidence. He has the best singing voice of all the boys. But it's about time that he leaves, 6 nominations? 4 times without getting the votes. Ridiculous.
Lara should have been nominee, her singing wasn't good. But she was not insulting anyone with her eval, so chill out people.
Michel Azzi should have been nominee every week for the last month, but this week he did well. So I don't think he deserves it this week.

Bash really should have been a nominee too. If you people know anything about music, and you have heard Chris Daughtry's song "home" then you wlould know that what Bash sang was a joke. It was terrible. Bash is re4ally getting a free pass.

Habooba we are on the same page. I like Bash but when he performs with Lara he is so nervous and you can definitely tell. Last week when Micho performed and Tanya danced he was right on every note. I just think people are jealous because after the show is over Tanya and Micho will make it but Lara and Bash have no way in hell of making their relationship work. I also think all the nominees deserve the nomination. I can't wait until this year it is over. Absolutely no talent to brag about from anyone. If I had to pick a winner I would say either Basma if she gets a spark going with her performances. Right now she is too boring and no one would ever buy her CD. Also Misho deserves to win. I think he is good all around. Everyone else sucks. If Lara goes home Bash might have a chance to redeem himself. He sings very well in Arabic not English and if he put out an Arab CD I would buy it for sure.

There are times I agree with you and other times I don't. Like last week when you left a comment about talent and all that you are all wrong. Talent has to be all the way around not just one thing. You are always putting down Michel saying he doesn't have it but from my stand point you are wrong. He has the look. He has the positive attitude. He improves every week and he is strong and stable. Sure he messed up some words and forgot them but that to me is nerves and once he is comfortable on stage that is something that you get better with and defininelty not worthy of nomination. You say he was bad all month, please explain how? Also you want him to sing Khaleeji. How many people do you know run to the store to buy Khaleeji? It doesn't sell it is boring and it all sounds alike. All artists who have tried to sing Khaleeji lose their fan base no one buys those CDS. You are really harsh on him. He has a great Baladi voice and that is what people like. I agree with you about Tanya but then again you are way too harsh. I think if she wasn't so focused on love she could've done really well on the stage. Her voice is not horrible but she doesn't give it her all. As for Ibro I think you you are wrong he has no stage presence. I completely am thinking the same as you on Yehya he has the strongest voice and nicest but he ruins it every time and has over stayed his welcome. I completely agree with you on Lara but think you are underestimating Bash. If he quits singing English that he doesn't know he can win the show singing Arabic.

Would you feel satisfied if you heard Bash singing in Arabic? You know very well the teachers are the ones who insist on giving him English songs with Lara, he wasn't given the chance to sing his own songs in the primes and he wants to sing in Arabic so badly. English is not his first language but at least he can add emotions when he sings like Marwan Khoury and Fadl Shaker. I don't know if your dislike of Bash has something to with talent or character but in the end it's your taste, we only have a few weeks left and each one of them is going home and will work on his or her career after months of isolation in the same building.

Simple answer, yes. Bash is much better in arabic. Especially at the begining, but lately Bash hasn't been doing outstanding in anything. Arabic or english, it's all been mediocre. But although the teachers do give him english songs to sing in the primes, the test is up to him. He sang the song bad, but he gets special treatment so he wasn't nominated.

Alrighty. I'll devide this into points.
1. First of all, I said Michel did well this week.
2. Looks are not talent. A talent is defined as "a natural ability or aptitude". Looking pretty doesn't apply. And although it takes more then just voice to be a star, Wael Kfoury, Hussein al Jasmi, Amr Diab, even more recently Shatha Hassoun. All had great voice. Some have other things, but at the base of being a great singer, is the voice.
3. Positive attitude is great, but I think you could say that about anyone other then Tania or Ibrahim. His voice is a wedding singers, or maybe for plays if he works hard. He is not a serious recording artist. No way.
4. Khaleeji does not all sound alike. You just don't like it.
5. In khaleeji countries, people buy khaleeji more. In Lebanon, people buy Lebanese more. The reason khaleeji songs aren't successful is not because khaleeji music is bad, it is because most of the singers who try it don't have the voice to pull it off. Neither does Michel. It's because he can't stretch like Azouz can.
6. If they want to make Abdel Aziz sing Lebanese, Michel should have to take the step to sing Khaleeji. Or else, let Azouz sing more khaleeji. It has to be fair to everyone. For that matter, Michel should have to sing Masri. Why does Aya have to sing Lebanese, but Michel doesn't sing masri? Why doesn't anyone sing ri music?
7. I'm not going to keep argueing about Tania, I think her voice is a joke. She's just a love story. Most none Lebanese people agree.
8. Ibrahim's stage presence isn't too much worse then Michels. But I don't think Ibrahim is very good either. He just had a really good test.
9. Bash's arabic singing is alright. Sometimes it's great, and somethimes it's bad. But I think it is an absoloute joke to even compare his voice to Bassma's. They are in completely different levels. On voice, not a single person other then Bassma deserves the title. I don't know what other talent that anyone has either. There is no one as funny as Hisham, or that composes like Mohammad Qammah. This season is a clear win for Bassma unless little girls vote on looks.

I'm very happy the snake Ibrahim is nominee. I hate him so much after how he treated Aya. I hope he will leave.

I don't care for Tania at all but I think she sing in english not better BUT much better than Basho and his wife Lara. I think both of them should be nominee.

I like Yahya and I think his vioce is nice and there is so much feeling when he sing.

Because Rula thinks the Micho-Tania story is much more interesting for the teenagers who are the major audience of the show, girls in particular, than poor Yahya, it is clear who will be leaving ... Those who have watched the show in the past seasons know that in the second half of a season it is not important who are the nominees but who is meant to leave : Rula does the calculations before, and who did better in the evals or the last prime does not matter (nor what they show who the instructors have voted for). It is a very transparent : Aya was the target last week, Zaher the week before, and so on.

All goes according to some Rula's plan. The goal is always very plain : to make more money. Sadly the mediocrities are more popular than the talents. Also, the candidates from Khaleej and Egypt have always been Rula's priority. From the next week on there will be only two nominees, and the elimination work will be much easier for Rula. It will be amusing to watch the mice race; after all the large part of the show is intended for the kids

I was not a big lara and bash but after seeing the true friendship they had with Ibro and the way they support each other and how genuine they are they gained my respect and support

I definitely did not say that looks should win a show. If I was going to say that than hands down Bash would win because he is the best looking guy I have ever seen. What I said was a person can be talented in their voice but not have anything else going for them like Basma. I am sorry the girl has a great voice but take that voice away and there is nothing left. I am sorry but when I go to a concert I don't want to sit in my seat and hear someone sing who has no emotion or movement. She waddles back and forth on stage and doesn't even smile. I woudl be 100% for her if she had a little personality. She is dry like toast that has been sitting out for days. Misho or Bash might not have the same voice level as her but they have everything else. That is clearly what I am trying to say. Then you argue about them singing in different languages. That is not their fault. They don't pick their songs. They can refuse to sing something but they can't pick it themselves. If Abdul Aziz hated singing Lebanese he can give it to someone else. He actually enjoys it and because of it he has won many fans. By the way I have listened to Khaleeji music and even went to Khaleeji clubs before on many occasions. I don't limit myself to one type of music. My personal opinion is I don't like it. I find it boring and obviously I am not going to sit there and listen to it if it is boring. Northern music rocks and northern music is the most successful. I will give you a bunch of music websites and you go see what the top ten artists and top ten songs are. I can guarantee you 8 out of ten of the musicians are from countries like Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Palestine and Jordan. And that is not my opnion it is proven statistics. As for Abdel Aziz he does stretch his voice way too much. He sounds like he is screaming. He tries to hard and you can tell. It sounds horrible these days. I am sorry I think you are wrong and you obviously don't have any clue how the music business operates. You can't just say a great voice should win. They can win but right when they walk off stage you will never hear from them again. The person who wins has to have a combination of things going for them. Please tell me Basma all around has everything going for her other than being cute and having a good voice? Would you pay to buy her CD? Would you honestly pay 100 plus for a concert ticket of hers? I know I wouldn't. I pay for that stuff to enjoy it dance sing. And she doesn't make me do that.

libanlove, you compare Basma to Azii and Bash. if they have the same age I would agree with you, but they don't . Basma is only 18 but fortunately she has the most important thing that is Voice, when she will be as the same age as Azi or Bash, she will be more confident and warm and all what you want, more than Azi and Bash.

with time and with more oppurtunity, she will star and with a lot self confident as the case of the most stars, because I mentioned she has the most important thing.

Nonna the contest is now not five years from now. She might have a great voice and more confidence in five years or two years even but then she shoudl've waited. This contest is who is better now. Who can sell now? Who can make a profit now? She can't right now. In five years if she leaves the show and makes it good for her but right now she doesn't have it. A person's voice can only get them so far. So many great voices have left the show and we hear nothing about them. qwaider last year was amazing. Where is he now? He dropped or switched management three times because he is difficult to deal with. No one will put up with that shit no matter how great your voice is.
