After the break, the first tableau of the night is an ancient Egyptian one starring Basma.
She sings Samira Said's song 'Leila'.
It's amazing how the setting of the tableau and all the decor is prepared and organized and executed!
A reportage about the three nominees, which means Yahia, Ibrahim and Diala will be on stage next.
Ibrahim goes first and sings 'Salamat'. Then Yahia and Diala.
Hilda later announces that no matter what Yahia's fate is by the end of the night, he will be going on his trip to Italy.
Then, the other guests of the night perform. Al Fursan Al Arbaa perform one of their popular songs. * Who are Al Fursan Al Arbaa?
With the Fursan sing both Micho and Abdul Aziz.
After the break, it's time for Disco!
Zaher sings The Bee Gees groovy song, You Should Be Dancing. Ya!
Then the rest of the students appear from the back and they're all into the 70's spirit! Hair and all!
Even Hilda had on the huge hair on and danced the dance! Cute!
A reportage about the week's delegate, Lara.
Her main achievement is the 'Circle of Trust' or the 'Honesty Sessions'.
So, what does she win for being an active student delegate?!
First of all, she comes to stage with little Pixie in her hand.
Then Mme. Rula says that she did achieve a lot through out this week and thus she extends her responsibility for another week!
Then she tells her to give Pixie to one of the audience to take care of it, so she gives it to her sister, Tamara, who will take Pixie home and take care of it well.
Miriam Fares appears on stage again.
She sings her song 'Yesaalni Mukana Wen?' with Basma.
It's nice how Miriam took Basma's hand and encouraged her to dance along.
Another reportage, this time about dance class and Elissar Caracalla.
After the break, Tania is in the middle of what seems like a huge dry cleaners place!
She sings 'Baadak 3al Bal' and this time is kinda out of tune! Sorry! But she didn't do as good as usual!
Then it's a reportage about Wadih Abi Raad.
Micho and Naser then do a new version of 'Umi Tanuros Ya Sabiyeh'.
I wish the camera man wasn't crazy with the camera as Naser was Rapping! I got dizzy!
If Naser is quick with the words, the camera man doesn't have to be jittery as well!

The Julio Iglesias songs were changed in the last two hours before the prime and both Bash and Zaher had to work extra hard to learn them and do a good job alongside Mr. Julio himself.
Lara and Bash perform on stage together.
Lara does 'Disturbia' by Rihanna but i couldn't get the song that Bash sang.

As for the results, the nominee saved by the audience with %43.07 is Ibrahim.

Didn't like the preformance tho.. Both Bash and Lara were out of tune and kinda pitchy. Even the choreography was bad.. Lara was EVERYWHERE while Bash was STILL. Laa needs to tone it down and Bash needs to learn to dance if he's gonna sing with Lara again.
Oh and its the first time that Lara isn't in the top 5!! Thank god, since her preformance of Womanizer last week wasn't good at all..

Then I really think that Tania should be nominated as well. Overall preformance doesn't mean a thing if the voice is not good enough.

I'm glad that Ibrahim and Yahia are back. They still have potential to stick here a bit more. Yes, even Yahia who was nominated 3 times deserves to stay more than Diala who was nominated for the first time. That's because Yahia had his down moments, even though he's REALLY good vocally. (Did anyone see him last prime? He was AMAZING!) As for Diala, this is all she can do with her voice, nothing more. She reached where she should've in this competition which isn't too bad actually. At least they were fair to her unlike Khawla who desereved to stay more..

(I'm guessing that the students will choose over Nasser next week, and Zaher the week after, even though Zaher shouldn't leave.. and she'll probably get choosen over Yahia as well until she finally leaves in the 8th place which is what they really want)
Anyways, enough rambling lol.
Not a bad prime. Here is my review!
Aya: Look people, don't like Aya, I think she is a mean spirited, rude, and jealous person. But I to be honest I think she sang very well in todays prime. The tableu was very similar to one for Marwa in the starac 4 finals. Now Aya is not as good as Marwa, and didn't dance, but the singing was good.
Bassma: She did great. I missed "Leila," but I'm sure it was great. I don't think that anyone besides Bassma deserves to win. When she makes it to the finals she will deserve 100% of the votes. Bassma is clearly the best voice. They are trying to compare Bassma and Aya just to make this seem like a competition, but realistically, Aya is nothing next to Bassma.
Ibrahim: He did good in his nominee song. He deserved to come back. But to be honest, it looks like his votes are low considering he was with a Jordanian and a Palestinian.
Yehia: Not good. He was close, but he needs to learn to keep working at his voice. It is very nice, he just doesn't seem to use it well.
Diala: did well today. It's a shame to see her go on her first nomination. Yehia was nominee three times and they gave him another chance, it's not fair Diala gets no second chances. She has been really doing badly lately though, with the songs she's been singing and the vocals she's had, it's just not good. But she deserved a second chance.
Azzi: Did well in his first song, but very badly in the second. Not much singing for him today.
Azouz: Did well in both songs, but he was trying to change his style to a more Lebanese one to fit with the Forsan. In any case he did a bit better then Azzi but sang even less.
Zaher: Did very well today. I liked the tableua, was impressed with his vocal range, and am glad he got some spotlight.
Nasser: A little better today? in any case he still can not rap. His yelling and screaming some interpret as "getting the crowd going," is not talent. I can do that. So can you. Anyone that can yell and walk can do that. He should be out, and Khawla should still be in.
Tania: was terrible as usual. It is not fair that she is now going to make it in as the fourth girl in the tour, and she has a nothing voice, and no talent. Diala and Khawla both had better voices. Heck, Khawla seems to have more popularity and votes then Ibrahim, yet she is out, while Tania is still there.
Bash: He did ok, not bad. But I still hold that Bash sings much better in arabic, and making him sing english is a waste of time. He's not anything special in english. Really, he's over rated. And he didn't deserve to be number one, cause he messed up the Julio song badly, while Zaher did great. Given he deserves credit for getting it last minute, just not top 1.
Lara: After last weeks disaster with womanizer, Lara did well. I know you people are gonna pick it apart, but in all fairness it is hypocritical to keep insulting her for "playback" and giving Bash a free pass. It's a double standard. And she was definitely, with out a doubt, not lip singing. Her background vocals were recorded, but so were Aya's, and so were Bash's. Lara did ok.
Finally, I feel bad for Diala. No second chance? come on people! Yehia has been nominee 3 times! Aya is the worst, she voted for Yehia?! She isn't friends with Yehia, she doesn't talk to Yehia, there is nothing between her and Yehia! Yet she voted for yehia after hs third nomination just to get Diala out of her way. Her motives were clear. Bassma did the right thing and voted fro Diala, possibley because she knew Diala was going, possibley because she wanted to give Diala a chance. They really aren't fair sometimes.

Looks like both me and you know that Khawla left the academy too soon. She deserved to stay longer!
I believe that she can even surprass Aya and become the second best female singer after Basma if the academy gave her the chance!
They just didn't want to have 2 morrocans in the final 4 girls. Yetm they are fine with 2 female egyptians like last year..
It's a shame really cuz Khawla has more vocal range than Tania, Diala, & even Lara.. She had the foundation which is her voice and she just needs to build on it which is what the academy is for.. Yet, they wasted her chance just cuz she either didn't have a good love story, wasn't the only one from her country, didn't sing in english, or didn't dance as good as the others, didn't have a good enough stage presence.
Well all of these can be built during her stay in the academy.. And if she did have the chance to achieve all of that, she'd be an amazing preformer..

I sort of miss Khawla. Maybe her voice was weak as the teachers say, or lazy or whatever the reason may be.... but i liked her. Never understood why she was with Nasser though...but if anything good came of it... the guy CALMED down... atleast no more screaming in the dailies! I loved the way she could sing in different languages. I think she had potential... but well its sad she had to leave so soon.

Tania oof.. from the begining of starac i found her nose kind of weird (astaghferullah) now i know why! Plastic surgery! And Basma if you can hear me DON'T DO PLASTIC SURGERY!!! Maybe she has progressed from Prime 1... but like someone (cant recall who) commented...we want to see results NOT who has improved the most. I guess am expecting a miraculous change... maybe someday in the future when Tania has reached her voice limit i will like it but as of the beginning to date... sorry she is not my cup of tea!

Yahya... reminds me of Qwaider when i first saw him. A wannabe? I just wish he would take more care of his voice coz i think he can sing! Ruined Gabbar initially though.
Oh and did i mentioned i loved loved LOVED Siraj when he played the guitar!! OMG! I admire the guy .. he would always go 7amdulla and be polite to teachers and all. Maybe he had no voice per se but i MISS THE GUITAR!!!

Come On guys, I actually thought that Lara was good this time. I agree that when she sang womanizer it was a complete disaster but Disturbia was actually good. She is also the most person who has stage presence. even though she is not rlly my favorite, but she is cute and kindhearted. not a backstabber like Aya.
omg!!! there is no freaking way diala got out befor tania. i started crying when diala got out. they would have gaven her a second chance i love yahia but he had to many chances. poor diala she had a really nice voice and was the prettiest one in the house. and how the hell did aya vote for yahia. diala supported egypt all the way even though she was not from egypt now i hate aya. the only reason i watched this show was because of diala now im not gonna watch it any more because the dumb bastards didnt vote for her.
