She needs to work on her attitude first! I can't believe a 17 year old wants a nose job. She is crazy. She looks fine the way she is. I would have never a million years tell her to change it.

Honestly, I dont think that Star Academy is the right place for Basma to worry about whether she wants a nose job or not. Its a stupid idea, it is not that she doesnt need it as this is her choice, but an operation now means that she is not going to be able to participate and sing! and even if she intends on having the surgery done after star academy so why mention it now?

Absolutely not!!! I think it is ok for someone who has a huge nose that's doesn't go with his face or something like that to have a nose job, but for a beautiful girl to have a nose job to look more beautiful is just sickening and just shows what a media victim she is.

2 basma decided not to do the nosejob currently.. she is going wth one of the teacers to satisfy her curiousity and to get her answers regarding the procedure.. she wants to do it in lebanon cause of the good reputaion ( 3an 2l3amaleyyat).. HOWEVER she doesnt feel comfortable with her nose .. it is a self issue.. ( i think) i mean when she is done with this job maybe she'll get more self esteem..( not that she needs it.. she is good and one of the best ( voice/stage performance) but if she think that is might inhance her look.. welll actually it might as long as she dont do a drastic change.. maybe just a slight change...umm imagine it, it might be better.....let's keep it her call

First of all Basma is 19 years old.
Second thing it's her choice wether or not she wants to get a nose job, So what if she WANTS TO DO IT, not like she is getting plastice surgery on her whole face.

In my opinion, I think she should do it, BUT AFTER THE ACADMEY IS OVER getting the surgery could mess up a lot of things, her voice may change, and she may feel tired and sick for a while which is going to mess her up, and may end up leaving.
So I say DO IT, BUT AFTER THE ACADEMY IS OVER!!!! THATS JUST WHAT I THINK.

No, she doesn't need it. Bassma is very pretty, and a less hooked nose won't change that at all. It won't make her prettier really, it might change the shape of her nose to make it look more typical, but she won't look prettier. Her nose is cute the way it is. It's not like she has a witch nose or anything.
Wost case scenario, it might mess up her voice, or look unnatural. Not only that, but her gettng a nose job is on account of weak self esteem. What message does that give to little girls around the arab world? that to look pretty you need to have a nose job? or that you can't have a hooked nose? All in all I think it is a terrible idea.

Basma doesn't need a nose job and she is very cute. She has the best voice this year so I don't think it is a good idea now.
But if she really wants to do it should be after starac as it wil affect her voice for a while.
