OK, for years I have fought for Star Academy and its integrity, and for years there have been many who have called me a fool for doing so and apparently Tunisian actress Laila Al-Shabi is amongst them! Laila’s daughter apparently went to the Star Academy auditions along with a bunch of her friends and was shocked at what they were put through. Apparently when they walked in to sing for the judges instead of having the quality of their voices assessed they were asked atrocious questions.

Finally! The first prime of Star Academy 6 will air LIVE from Lebanon on February 20th. At last, the wait is almost over, everyone! If you have got any doubts, then don't you worry I think it is totally true this time, this date is confirmed by the lbcfanclub, however the LBC still hasn't announced it yet.

After the end of the past season of Star Academy, there were no concerts. However Algerian starac 5 graduate amal Bouchoucha was full of surprises, she managed to start a successful career through her appearance in many events and signing a contract with Rotana Music TV to present the show Top 20.

Now, Amal is working on a new surprise that has not been disclosed yet! Could it be her first video clip? or a new TV show? What do you think would be better for her to continue with her success, another music video following in te footsteps of Qwaider and Zaher or presenting a new TV show? I personally recommend the second option for her!

Remember the news about Mirhan going to pair up with famous Egyptian actor/singer Tamer Hosny for part 2 of the movie 'Omar and Salma'? Well, last week the shooting of the movie started by the production company Al Sabki, under the direction of Ahmad Al Badri.

Rumor has it that LBC Star Academy 6 is going to broadcast its first prime of the season on Friday February 13th!
There has been no official announcement from LBC, but that's what's been circulating around the net!

A new phase of Star Academy 1 graduate Bahaa Kafi has begun!
Bahaa is putting the final touches on her second album.
This is big for her because she's been away from the spotlight for the past two years! So, this some sort of a comeback for her.

Star Academy graduate Mohammad Qwaider wanted to show his support for the people of Gaza and the best way for him is to compose and sing a song that he dedicates to the poeple of Gaza.

Star Academy graduate Mohammad Qammah has tried to do his part in supporting Gaza.
He dedicated a song entitled 'Qader Rabena Yegmaa Shamlena' to the people of Gaza.

There were many rumors circulating about whether Rula Saad would still be the Director of the Academy for the upcoming season of LBC Star Academy or not.
Some reports claimed that she resigned and left it all behind her, while others reported that she was still the big boss!
Well, it seems that Mme. Saad is still the head of the Academy and will be supervising everything during Star Academy 6.

So, after so much speculation and guessing, we can stop wondering and start waiting for the 6th season of LBC Star Academy!
It's been revealed according to LBC fan club, that Star Academy 6 will begin in February 2009!
