The PGA Championship is one of the greatest highlights in the world of golf. PGA or Professional Golfers Association of America Championship is the time when pro golfers compete for the top position. Last week, especially Sunday, marks a great culmination for the PGA Championship. If you bet on Tiger Woods’ win, you did not bet wrongly! Woods garnered his 13th major title. This 2007 PGA Cup is actually his 4th PGA. In the tournament held at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa Oklahoma, he finished first place with a final-round one-under par 69 in the 72 holes. This latest victory is another memorable one for Tiger Woods because it is the first one he’s made since the arrival of his beautiful daughter Sam. “This is sweet, really sweet,” Tiger Woods said after winning his 12th major title at the season’s final major, the 2006 PGA Championship held at the Medinah Country Club. Tiger Woods is Open champion for the second time. His mastery of the Old Course at St Andrews and of the world's leading players was an almost exact repeat of his performance here in the Millennium Open. He dominated play throughout the four days of the Championship, opening with rounds of 66-67, then had to fight hard in tough conditions on the third day for a 71 before adding the final flourish with a 70 and a five-shot victory over Colin Montgomerie. Woods played throughout with iron control, using his full power sparingly and preferring to target the safe areas away from the dangerous bunkers that pepper the Old Course.
