Everyone in the Laker’s Team was surprised about the trade that happened with Brian Cook and Maurice Evans a few minutes before boarding the bus going to the arena last Tuesday’s game. Despite the upheaval that happened earlier it was still a surprising win of Lakers 134 over Pacers 114 in the game that was held in the Conseco Fieldhouse.
Tuesday’s victory was all thanks to Kobe Bryant who scored 32 points for 16 shooting. This score was made with his excellent maneuver against Danny Granger, Marquis Daniels and Shawne William. The Pacer’s entire defense just was not enough to conquer Bryant’s energy. Bryant set the pace of the game for the Lakers and his teammates followed his lead. Andrew Bynum had perfect defense and he kept guard on Pacer’s Jermaine O’Neal being able to block three of his shots. He showed his skill in the game with 17 points on 6 for 6 shooting in 29 minutes and 10 rebounds.
Pacers was overmatched and couldn’t find a way to stop Laker’s surprisingly perfect shooting and defense. We have to watch out if Lakers continue to hold up their winning streak during this season.
