It will still be a few years before the Superb Bowl but even though that is the case the location for the Super Bowl XLV is already being established. As of Tuesday afternoon the bid for the Super Bowl XLV in February 2011 was awarded to North Texas. The sate won over contenders Indianapolis and Phoenix. Football fans have the joy of looking forward to this event that will be held in Texas, specifically the Cowboy’s new $1 billion dollar stadium in Arlington. The decision was established out of the voting of the NFL owners when they met up in Tennessee. Previously, football fans complained about not being able enjoy the Superb Bowl because of limited space. But for the 2011 event, more fans will be accommodated since the Cowboy’s new stadium can hold up to 100, 000 fans.
According to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, “"Everyone has always told me, 'I wish we could get more fans in the Super Bowl. I wish we could do that. I think the fact we can have 100,000 people in the stadium is important because it includes that many more people in our biggest event in the NFL."
Since the Superb Bowl is more than just the biggest football event ever, but is also a time for airing ads and commercials, the video screens placed in plazas will be an added benefit.
