The Asian Football Game winners Qatar are on a role! They've won their first ever Asian Games title after beating Iraq in the final match 1-0 and clinched the Gold.
Now, they're dreaming of more than Asia and they want one of the best coaches in the world to help them.
And of course, money is no issue.
They want Erickson! And I'm not talking cell phones here. They are in negotiations to get the ex-English team's coach to the Gulf in order lead the Qatar team to glory.

Sven Goran Erickson from Sweden has said that money is not the only issue on the table as he would like to experience the Italian way of football. That's a shame since Qatar is offering $7M to try to change his mind which is one of the highest salaries ever offered to a football coach. He currently makes about $26,000 a week in England and has not expressed any urgency to jump at the highest offer and especially since there are rumors that he might train the French club Marseille.
