It’s not the best of times for English football legend David Beckham. He didn’t do well in the World Cup, he’s not on the English National team anymore thanks to new manager Steve McLaren and his Spanish club, Real Madrid hasn’t given him a regular position on the team.
There is some talk about his retirement circulating here and there although he’s said nothing of it.
Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon, said that the former England captain will quit in two years. A claim that Beckham's spokesman dismissed.
"As far as I know he has decided to retire in two years' time," Calderon told BBC Radio Five Live.
But a spokesman for Beckham said: "This is a complete surprise to us. No one has ever discussed a retirement date."
But why would Calderon make up something like this if there wasn't any truth to it at all?
Beckham moved to Real from Manchester United in 2003 in a deal 46.8 million dollars. But he’s free to negotiate a new contract in January to either stay or leave. Will he go back to Man United? Will he go to the US like what some rumors are saying?
One thing’s for sure, he needs to do something special this season.
Come on man! I know you can do it!

I think becks is one of the best footballers in the world. And Mclaren has made a big mistake leaving him out. I think he will be back to his best by no time. At the moment he is stuggling to get over england plans without him
