UAE Airline & Scotland Arsenal Football Club Deal

The United Arab Emirates's Emirates Airline and Scotland Arsenal Football Club signed a biggest club sponsorship in football history, worth 100 million pounds.

The agreement authorizes the Dubai-based international airline with the naming right to the club's new 60,000-seat stadium, which is under construction and boasts cutting-edge facilities. For the next 15 years and with immediate effect, the 357 million pounds stadium will be known as the Emirates Stadium...

Moreover, Emirates will also take over as the club's titlesponsor, including "Fly Emirates" shirt sponsorship for eight years, which will start from the 2006-2007 season, the first playing season in the new Emirates Stadium.

In addition, Arsenal will set up a soccer school in the UAE, aspart of the partnership agreement.
