Everything is good in moderation, especially the internet! I mean had it not been for the internet you could not be reading this article. But in all honesty 5 hours a day spent online is a bit of a waste! You may be wondering who exactly spends such excessive time on the internet. Well the answer is 38% of the Saudi Arabian population according to a recent study!

The same study also showed that a whopping 88% of the Saudi Arabian population know how to access and use the internet. Now it begs to question is this as good as it sounds? In a way it means that the youth in Saudi no longer have to be cut off the rest of the world and can gain an insight into different cultures. But misuse of the internet is bound to increase. Apparently by 2011, 2 billion people will own and use computers, so if the percentage was not so high then Saudi would be very much behind.
