Forbes revealed its annual listing of the richest Americans whose minimum net is $1.3 billion. Can you guess who got the top place? If you say Bill Gates you got that right on target! This year is already his 14th year in that position. This year Forbes disclosed that Bill Gates’ wealth amounting to $59 billion. Though in the worldwide scene, Gates has been surpassed in being the individual with the highest net-worth by Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim whose fortune is now $62.9, that’s according to Mexican Website Sentido Comun.

Bill Gates is $7 billion ahead of 2nd America’s richest, investor Warren Buffet, whose net worth is $52 billion. Buffet was able to sustain his position since he was also last year’s 2nd. On the 3rd top spot is also last year’s holder, Casino mogul Sheldon Adelson of Las Vegas Sands Corp. with $28 billion. 4th position is held by Larry Ellison, Oracle chairman, with $26 billion.
