The New Year is the high season for singers who participate in several parties and concerts to celebrate this big and important event. This year, artists raised their charges since Sherine for example got EGP 200,000 although she is banned from singing according to the syndicate’s resolution after her disagreement with her producer Nasr Mahrous. Another pop star like Hany Shaker took EGP 120,000, Dina the dancer got EGP 60,000 and she participated in 5 parties.

Asala got even higher and took 60,000 $ while Ragheb Alama got 40,000 $. Of course Haifa Wehbe can’t take less than 60,000 $ (Honestly, I thought she may take more). Fadl Shaker got 50,000 $ while Mohamed Abdo became no.1 in the list since he took 85,000 $ (Isn’t weird he took more than Haifa?!).

Other modest singers took much less like for example Mohamed Hamaki who took EGP 60,000 (although there is much demand for him), Dolly Shahine got 5,000 $, Miriam Fares took 15,000 $, Mohamed Fouad took EGP 120,000 and finally Mohamed El Soghayar got only EGP 20,000. Other great pop stars just apologized for all the proposals and didn’t attend any parties like Amr Diab, Hakim and Hisham Abbas.
