And for those of you who think that no one owns democracy, you're dead wrong. Take a look at the handful of figures who own the American media.

Keith Rupert Murdoch
This guys owns FOX and a long long long list of others stuff, in short, he's worth some $8.2 billion.

Samuel Irving Jr. Newhouse And Donald Edward Newhouse
Ever thought of going into business with your brother? These guys did. The brothers now own Condé Nast, Parade and Fairchild among a long list of others. They're both worth about $14.6 billion.

The Hearst Family
William Randolph Hearst is credited with launching the family's publishing empire in 1887. The family today own a large number of newspaper and magazines. All together their fortune is worth over $8 billon.

Sumner Redstone
The 83-year-old media baron owns Viacom, CBS, DreamWorks and others. His fortune is worth $7.7 billion

Haim Saban
Egyptian-born, Israeli-raised U.S. resident made 2.8 billion from his master creation Power Rangers!

So ask yourself this question: If freedom of speech is really free, how come these guys are now billionaires? :)
