My problem is that I came to America new and am from Nigeria. Am in school here in new jersey and i saw this girl that i really love and i want to be with, i told her what is in my mind thats i love her, she said i have to give her some time to think about it if am a honest and if am a guy to be trusted. It took her almost 2 to 3 weeks to think about it, she called me and said that she only want us to be best friends. So what will i do to make her love me pls... i really love this girl.

I am sorry to say that the best thing you can do is contend with the friendship she is offering. She does not seem to have made the decision lightly.
I think you should strive to be the best friend you can be to her for the time being. Respect her decision, and hopefully she may come to appreciate your loyalty, and reward you with the affections you seek.

You have to make sure you do not pressure her into returning your feelings, because she will resent you which might drive her further away. Just take it slowly, one day at a time. You never know your feelings may change overtime, and you no longer feel attraction towards her.
If being near her is painful, and your feelings do not seem to ease over time, then the best thing to do is distance yourself.

Also could your feelings so soon be as a way to compensate for your homesickness? You say you are new to the country. Did you have time to adjust to life yet, and make new friends?
If not, work on building other friendships and hobbies in your new country as well as concentrating on your studies.
