My parents always ask me "what's up" and i want to tell them about boys who i like, because all my friends do. But I'm scared because i think my dad is going to get mad when he knows. As for my mom, i don't think she would get mad.

You should have a private talk with your mom first; have a girl to girl talk with her and tell her that you don't want her to get angry, and that you only want to share stuff with her.
Then if things go well, ask her if your dad wouldn't mind sharing the chat with you two.
