I'm 15 years old and my father won't let me go to my best friend's house because she lives in a town out side the town we live in. He thinks i might do something wrong that he doesn't approve of! I want to run away to get away from everything, i want to live with my best friend.
Am i aloud to and how do i do it?
please help me, I'm so scared to ask my own father to go to my best friend's house!

Dear Kim,

Your father might be just a bit over protective! You should try to understand why he acts this way. (all parents are like that)
Try to talk to him, but the first thing you have to do is earn his trust! You have to be responsible, do what he tells you, do good in school and be a good girl! That way, he might loosen up and let you go to visit your friend.
But running away is definitely the wrong thing to do. You will just make things worse!
Try to patch things up with your dad, and relax, then everything will be ok.
