It was last year when I met my first boyfriend through common friends in a group. Everything was so perfect. We can talk about anything. We were both in love with each other. It was a good relationship filled with love and respect. But there was a sudden twist of fate when one day he told me his passion of becoming a missionary priest. My heart crashed! so I told him I have no right to question God. so I let him go because I don't want to be a hindrance to his call.

As the days go by we became closer to each other. The relationship lasted for 7 months until the day he officially packed his things and was on his way to the seminary. He even greeted me on my birthday the day he left. I know it's still a long journey to take, I just don't know if I still have to hope for him. How can I move on knowing we are still both in love with each other?

It is hard, but when duty calls, some one has to make a sacrifice.
If he loves you, he will never stop, but he has a calling he has to answer to, and if you love him you should let him go.
But you should always keep in contact with him, and ask about him, he will appreciate it a lot.
